BUSINESS DEFINITION

Business with all kinds of shapes occur in our lives every day, since morning to wake up to sleep again. In English dictionary, defined as a business deal, a commercial business in the world trade, and business. Skinner (1992) defines a business as an exchange of goods, services, or money that is mutually beneficial or beneficial. According Anoraga and Soegiastuti (1996), business has the basic meaning as "the buying and selling of goods and services". Meanwhile, in view of Atraub and Attner (1994), no other business organization that runs a production and sales activities of goods and services desired by consumers to obtain profit. Goods are a product that has a physical form (can be viewed with indra), while services are activities that provide benefits to consumers or business. (Muhammad, and K. W Yusanto, 2002:15)

Business is an activity that leads to the increase in added value through the process of delivering services, trade, or processing of goods (production). Terminology in this discussion, the financing is funding, both active and passive, done by the institutions financing to customers. Meanwhile, business activity is a form of service, trade, industry den to maximize the value of benefits. Skinner says (1992) business is the exchange of goods, services, or money that is mutually beneficial or beneficial. Meanwhile Anoraga and Soegiastuti (1996) defines business activity as a sale and purchase of goods and services. Attner and Straub (1994) defines the business is an organization that runs the event production and sale of goods and services that are desired by consumers to obtain profit. (Muhammad, 37)

From all these definitions, it can be concluded that an organization / business will be doing business activity in the form of: (1) and produce or distribute goods and / or services, (2) search for profit, and (3) try to satisfy consumers. Producing goods and despair that is not harmful to themselves and the people, seek profit in a way that is correct and does not infringe the rules that have been determined (lawful and unlawful), consumer satisfaction with services as well as possible.
